Jachthaven Zuidwesthoek
Location: Hoornsedijk 3, Haren, Netherlands
Jachthaven Zuidwesthoek lies on the Paterswoldsemeer at Meerweg in Haren, directly south of the city of Groningen. The harbour dates from 1984 and has grown into one of the larger bases on the lake, with around 500 berths, a guest harbour and camera surveillance on the grounds. The yard sells petrol, mixing oil and diesel, hauls boats for winter storage and runs a maintenance workshop for sailing and motor yachts, alongside a watersports shop and sloop rental. The marina flies the Blue Flag for clean and safe harbours. The Paterswoldsemeer itself is a sheltered lake for dinghies and small cruisers, with the Groningen city waterways within easy reach.
