Jachthaven Zijlzicht

Location: Zijleiland 1, Leiden, Netherlands

Jachthaven Zijlzicht dates from 1938 and lies on the Zijl on the northeast side of Leiden, within easy reach of the city centre. The harbour has more than 130 berths in boxes from 6 to 13 metres, each with electricity and drinking water, and there is ample parking on the grounds. The yard handles maintenance and winter storage, and a crane is available by appointment. The office also brokers boat sales. The open water of the Kagerplassen is a few minutes away by boat. Demand is high: the harbour currently operates a waiting list for permanent berths, and new applicants register through a form rather than booking directly.
