Jachthaven Westergoot

Location: Baanhoekweg 1B, Dordrecht, Netherlands

Jachthaven Westergoot lies on the Baanhoekweg in Dordrecht, off the Beneden-Merwede at the edge of the Hollandse Biesbosch, with the Brabantse Biesbosch across the river. It is a family business: H.W. van Geenen bought the harbour in 1989, sons Joseph and Peter took over in 1994, and a third generation joined in 2018. One of the brothers is present every day of the year. The marina has about 530 permanent berths and 50 guest places, with room for ships up to 20 metres and around 2 metres depth. Facilities include sanitary blocks with disabled access, a restaurant, boat hire, houseboat rentals and 11 camper pitches. The harbour has flown the Blue Flag since 2009.
