Jachthaven Reitdiep

Location: Reitdiephaven 151, Groningen, Netherlands

Jachthaven Reitdiep lies on the north-west edge of Groningen where the Reitdiep leaves the city, in the middle of the Reitdiephaven quarter with its brightly painted quayside houses. The harbour is on the standing mast route, so sailing yachts can pass between the Frisian lakes, the city and the Lauwersmeer without lowering the rig. It is one of the larger harbours in the region, with about 220 permanent berths and 80 visitor places at around 1.50 euros per metre per day. Facilities include showers, laundry, shore power, WiFi, a waste water station and secured jetties, and a baker, pharmacy, supermarket and restaurant are on the harbour square.
