Jachthaven Noordergat
Location: Noordergat 1, Lauwersoog, Netherlands
Jachthaven Noordergat lies at Lauwersoog on the Lauwersmeer, directly behind the Wadden dike and 350 metres from the Robbengatsluis, the lock that opens onto the Waddenzee. That position makes it a natural departure harbour for Schiermonnikoog, the other Wadden islands and the North Sea, while the sheltered Lauwersmeer and the Frisian lakes lie astern. The harbour has about 450 fixed berths and 100 visitor berths at 1.95 euros per metre per night, with water and free showers included. Facilities include a diesel pump, mast crane, boat lift, trailer ramp, winter storage, free waste water disposal, a laundry and the clubhouse Het Roode Hooft with a harbour office.
