Batavia Coast Marina

Location: Lee Steere Street, Geraldton, Western Australia, Australia

Batavia Coast Marina sits on Geraldton's redeveloped foreshore, a few minutes' walk from the city centre and the Museum of Geraldton, which houses relics of the wrecked VOC ship Batavia. A recent 3.3 million dollar expansion lifted capacity from 84 to 118 berths on floating pens, some suited to vessels of 25 metres and more, and the marina serves as a seasonal base for Abrolhos Islands charters. Water and power are laid on at the berths, with fuel available in the port precinct. The Houtman Abrolhos, some 60 nautical miles offshore, make Geraldton a natural staging post on the Western Australian coastal passage.
