Yacht Racing Forum

The Yacht Racing Forum is the annual business conference for the yacht racing industry, and 2026 brings its 16th edition. It runs 19 and 20 November in Amsterdam, immediately after Metstrade, which makes it easy for marine trade visitors to stay on for two more days. Shirley Robertson chairs the conference. The 2026 programme includes a session with World Sailing CEO David Graham and covers the major circuits, race management, technology and the growth of mass-participation formats. The Pantaenius Yacht Racing Image Award is presented on 20 November, with the twenty best images exhibited at Metstrade beforehand. Delegates are a mix of event organisers, teams, sponsors, designers, suppliers and media, and the networking is arguably the main product; the Sailors' Night on Thursday evening is where much of the actual business gets done. Amsterdam has hosted the Forum since 2024.
