E-Harbour Amstelkwartier

Location: Spaklerweg 20, Amsterdam, Netherlands

E-Harbour Amstelkwartier was the first emission-free marina in the Netherlands. It lies on the Duivendrechtsevaart in the Amstelkwartier district of Amsterdam, close to the Amstel and a short run from the city canals, at Daniel Goedkoopstraat 1. The harbour has 65 fixed berths reserved for electrically powered vessels up to 20 metres, including saloon boats and tour boats. Every berth has smart charging infrastructure fed by a 1000 kVA shore transformer and supplied with renewable wind energy. There are no visitor berths and no fossil fuel services; boats with combustion engines are not accepted. Operator E-Harbour also runs electric harbours at Nautix and in Uithoorn and advises municipalities on emission-free boating.
