Sail Melbourne returns to Port Phillip from 26 to 29 November 2026, hosted by Royal Brighton Yacht Club at Middle Brighton. The regatta is Australia's flagship Olympic-classes event and a fixture of the national federation's Summer of Sailing, with racing for Olympic, invited and youth divisions including ILCA, 49er, 470, Nacra 17, windsurfing and kite fleets. Members of the Australian Sailing Team traditionally use the event to test form against international visitors and the country's best youth sailors on the bay's reliable sea breezes. Entries opened in mid 2026 through the event website, and racing runs daily from the Brighton foreshore.
