Marmaris International Race Week

Date: 26 October 2026 – 30 October 2026

Location: Marmaris International Yacht Club, Marmaris, Turkey

Organizer: Marmaris International Yacht Club

Marmaris International Race Week is the largest keelboat regatta in Turkey and the eastern Mediterranean, with nearly 150 yachts and over 1,500 sailors racing each autumn out of Marmaris. The event has run since 1989 and is organized by the Marmaris International Yacht Sport Club (MIYC). The 37th edition is scheduled for 26 to 30 October 2026. Racing is under ORC, split into classes A through D plus a Charter Division, which keeps the event open to bareboat crews flying in without their own boat. The format is straightforward: one race a day starting at noon, Monday to Friday, in the Gulf of Marmaris, with daily prize-givings at seven each evening. Late October in southwest Turkey usually means warm water, shifting breeze and a fleet that treats the week as equal parts championship and end-of-season party.
