Whyalla Yacht Club
Location: Lincoln Highway, Whyalla, SA, Australia
Whyalla Yacht Club is based at the Whyalla Foreshore Marina on Spencer Gulf in South Australia. Membership exceeds 150, and the club welcomes experienced sailors as well as complete beginners. Sail training programmes are on offer, and newcomers can join yacht crews to gain time on the water before they commit to a boat of their own. Alongside keelboat and dinghy sailing the club caters for board sports, from windsurfing and sailboarding to kiteboarding and paddleboarding. The air-conditioned clubhouse opens on Friday evenings for meals and drinks, a fixture of the club's social calendar on the Whyalla foreshore.
