Port Melbourne Yacht Club

Port Melbourne Yacht Club has raced on Port Phillip since 1889, from a clubhouse on the Port Melbourne foreshore that was rebuilt after a fire in 1990 and looks straight back at the city skyline. The club runs a full racing season with results published series by series, hosts the Top of the Bay regatta and keeps crews active through winter training sessions. Newcomers come through its sailing school, while the Port Explorers programme introduces juniors to the water each summer. Ashore there is boat storage and an events room above the bay, and the club is easy to reach by public transport.
