Illawarra Yacht Club
Location: 1 Grand Parade, Warrawong, NSW, Australia
Illawarra Yacht Club stands at 1 Northcliffe Drive, Warrawong, on the foreshore of Lake Illawarra just south of Wollongong. The club runs trailable yacht racing on the shallow, protected lake and organises the Lord Mayor's Regatta under the Racing Rules of Sailing, while an associated windsurfing club races on Saturdays from September to April. Ashore, the Boat Shed Brasserie serves bar and bistro meals with a 180 degree lake view, and the calendar takes in trivia, live music and lake events. The club operates alongside Oak Flats Bowling Club under a shared membership across the two venues.
