Gosford Sailing Club

Location: Masons Parade, Gosford, NSW, Australia

Gosford Sailing Club has raced on Brisbane Water on the NSW Central Coast since 1932, when it was formed as the Gosford Rowing, Sailing and Motor Club before adopting its current name in 1941. From an original fleet of two 16-foot skiffs, the club has grown into an Australian Sailing accredited Discover Sailing Centre with an active junior and training programme. Olympic gold medallist and SailGP Australia skipper Tom Slingsby is a long-standing member and club ambassador, and the club has produced numerous state, national and world champions. Sailability Gosford, established at the club in 1995, was the first supported-sailing programme of its kind in New South Wales.
