Slip Bight Marina

Location: The Esplanade, Paynesville, Victoria, Australia

Slip Bight Marina lines the Paynesville foreshore on McMillan Strait, the narrow channel that separates the town from Raymond Island in the Gippsland Lakes. East Gippsland Shire Council manages 220 wet berths across five jetties for vessels from 8 to 18 metres; jetties one to four offer standard pens with shared power and water, while jetty five provides premium berths with individual services and space for multihulls. Ashore there are toilets, showers, berth-holder laundry and kitchen facilities and foreshore parking, with a restaurant and the Paynesville Motor Cruiser Club on site. Gippsland Ports runs slipway services next door. The koala colony on Raymond Island, reached by a free ferry, draws steady visitor traffic.
