Runaway Bay Marina sits on the western edge of the Gold Coast Broadwater at 247 Bayview Street, a few minutes by water from the Seaway and the open sea beyond. The marina offers 195 wet berths together with a large dry stack storage facility for powerboats, and looks east towards South Stradbroke Island. Shore services include a fuel wharf and a boatyard with haul-out, hardstand and resident marine trades. Sheltered from ocean swell inside the Broadwater, it makes a practical base for day trips to the Gold Coast's sandy anchorages or a departure point for passages north towards Moreton Bay. Shops and clubs at Runaway Bay are within walking distance.
