Oyster Cove Marina
Location: Channel Highway, Kettering, Tasmania, Australia
Oyster Cove Marina occupies Little Oyster Cove at Kettering, on the sheltered D'Entrecasteaux Channel about 35 minutes south of Hobart. With 300 floating pontoon berths for vessels from 8 to 20 metres, all served by power and water, it is one of Tasmania's largest marinas and was the state's first accredited Clean Marina. The boatyard runs a 45-tonne travelift, a two-tonne crane for mast work, a keel pit and 21 hardstand sites, while the fuel wharf dispenses diesel and unleaded. Ashore there are showers, laundry, a chandlery and the Seawall Cafe. Visitors may lie alongside free for up to three hours, with overnight berthing that includes power and water. The Bruny Island ferry departs nearby.
