Empire Marina Bobbin Head

Location: Bobbin Head Road, North Turramurra, New South Wales, Australia

Empire Marina Bobbin Head lies deep inside Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park on Cowan Creek, a tidal arm of the Hawkesbury system, roughly half an hour's drive from central Sydney. Bushland and wooded ridges shelter the marina on every side, and its fairways are among the widest in the Sydney region. There are around 200 berths from 8 to 30 metres plus ten moorings, with fuel, ice and gas sold daily and a full-service boatyard for antifouling and repairs. The licensed Waterside Bistro overlooks the piers and overnight security keeps watch. From the berth it is a short run to the anchorages of Cowan Water, the Hawkesbury River, Brisbane Water and Pittwater.
