Brooklyn Marina

Brooklyn Marina lies in Sandbrook Inlet on the Hawkesbury River, about an hour north of Sydney and a short walk from Hawkesbury River railway station. One of the river's original marinas, with a licence dated 1959, it remains a family-run operation with 44 berths and 32 swing moorings in sheltered water behind Long Island. The yard offers full shipwright, mechanical, electrical, slipping and antifouling services, and the fleet includes hire houseboats, BBQ boats and tinnies for exploring the river. Modern amenities and on-site security round out the basics. It suits owners after an unfussy river base with proper trade support rather than a resort-style precinct.
