The Cascadia Cup is a fall regatta hosted by Sail Sand Point, Seattle's community boating center on the shore of Lake Washington. It is a promotional regatta for college and high school sailors, raced in FJ dinghies, with both groups sailing the same courses but scored separately. Fleets are split into Gold, Silver and Bronze divisions, so newer racers get genuine competition at their own level instead of chasing varsity crews around the course. The 2026 edition is on the Sail Sand Point calendar for October 10 and 11. Sail Sand Point is a nonprofit with a mission of making small boats accessible to everyone, and the Cascadia Cup fits that mission: short-course racing on flat water, low barriers to entry, and a format built to bring school sailors into the sport. For Pacific Northwest high school and college teams it is a standard stop on the autumn calendar.
