National ORC Championship 2026

Date: 2 September 2026 – 6 September 2026

Location: Limanu Marina, Limanu, Romania

Organizer: Seanergya Yachting

The National ORC Championship is the peak of Romania's offshore racing season. For 2026 it moves to a four-day racing format, from 2 to 6 September, in line with how major international ORC championships are run, and takes place at Limanu on the Black Sea coast south of Mangalia. The Romanian Yachting Federation's 2026 ORC calendar lists seven events, with this one as the title decider; the others, including the Black Sea 200 distance race and the season-ending Kaufland Regatta in late September, feed crews and form into it. Racing is under the ORC handicap system, so a mixed fleet of cruiser-racers competes for the same national title on corrected time. Seanergya Yachting is among the organizers driving the Romanian ORC circuit, which has grown steadily as offshore racing gains ground in the country. Four days on the water is a real step up from the older, shorter format, and crews will feel it.
