The Kaufland Regatta closes the Romanian ORC offshore season on the Black Sea. It is organised by Yacht Club Sportiv Seanergya and sails out of Limanu, near the southern end of Romania's coast close to the Bulgarian border, with racing scheduled for 25 to 27 September 2026. The event is part of a national ORC calendar that has grown steadily, seven scored competitions in 2026 including the BlackSea200 distance race and the National ORC Championship. Boats compete in ORC International and ORC Club divisions, which keeps the fleet mixed: optimised raters share start lines with cruiser-racers and amateur crews. Because the last points of the year are on the table, season standings are often settled at this regatta rather than earlier. Romanian keelboat racing is still a small scene compared with the Mediterranean circuits, and that is part of its charm. Boats, crews and the entire shore programme fit in one marina.
