Learn to Wingfoil

Learn to Wingfoil is the Singapore Sailing Federation's introductory wingfoiling programme, run at Constant Wind Sea Sports Centre. The course is aimed at young Singaporeans aged 9 to 16 and runs over four sessions, taking beginners step by step towards their first controlled flight on the foil. Equipment is provided, wing, board and foil, so nobody has to buy gear before knowing whether the sport sticks. Sessions are coached and supported by a safety boat. Wingfoiling itself is a recent arrival: a handheld inflatable wing powers a small board fitted with a hydrofoil, and once the board lifts, it is quiet, fast and surprisingly efficient even in modest wind. Singapore's steady sea breezes and flat coastal water make it a sensible place to learn. The programme sits within the federation's wider foiling pathway, alongside beginner courses for adults and continuation classes for those who want to keep progressing.
