HKSF 29er National Championships – GP3

Date: 22 November 2026 – 23 November 2026

Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong, Hong Kong

The Hong Kong 29er National Championships is the annual title event for the 29er class in Hong Kong, run by the Sailing Federation of Hong Kong, China as one round of its Grand Prix series; this listing covers the GP3 round. The 29er is a two-person youth skiff with a trapeze and asymmetric spinnaker, the standard step between junior classes and the Olympic 49er. Recent editions have been hosted from the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club's Middle Island base, with racing in the waters off Deep Water Bay, Repulse Bay, Chung Hom Kok and Stanley on the south side of Hong Kong Island. The event is open to international entries, while local sailors need membership of the 9er Class Association of Hong Kong, China. Hong Kong has one of the stronger 29er fleets in Asia; local crews took overall victory at the 2026 29er Asian Championship during Hong Kong Race Week.
