Genoa International Boat Show

The Genoa International Boat Show is the largest boat show in the Mediterranean and one of the most important in the world. The 66th edition takes place from 1 to 6 October 2026 at the Piazzale Kennedy waterfront in Genoa, a purpose-rebuilt exhibition area where a large part of the fleet sits in the water rather than in halls. The show covers the full range of the industry: sailing yachts, motor yachts, dinghies, inflatables, foiling craft, engines and electronics, with a growing section for electric and hybrid propulsion. Sea trials run directly from the docks, which is the practical advantage of an in-water show and the reason serious buyers come here. Genoa is also the shop window for Italian boatbuilding, and the national industry treats the week as its annual statement. Expect crowds on the weekend days. If you want to actually board boats and talk to yards, the weekday sessions are easier going.
