Falmouth Classic Regatta 2027

Date: 18 June 2027 – 20 June 2027

Location: Falmouth Harbour, Falmouth, United Kingdom

Falmouth Classics is an annual gathering of traditional and classic boats on the Carrick Roads in Cornwall, one of the largest events of its kind in the UK. The 2027 edition is listed by local sources for 18 to 20 June. The entry list ranges from 9-foot dinghies to vessels of 150 feet, including the famous Falmouth Working Boats, gaff-rigged oyster dredgers that still work the Fal under sail. Eligibility favours boats built before 1976, or later boats to a pre-1976 design or carrying a traditional gaff or lug rig. Three days of racing are backed by a Parade of Classic Boats, a Small Classic Boat Parade close to shore, and a social programme with receptions, a Classics Supper and a maritime village. The event runs the same weekend as the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival, so the town is full and the harbour front is loud. Watching from Pendennis Point costs nothing.
