ARC 2026 departs Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on 22 November 2026, bound for Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia. This is World Cruising Club's flagship rally, an organised Atlantic crossing of roughly 2,700 nautical miles that has run every November since 1986. The 2026 fleet is expected to number more than 200 boats and around 1,200 crew, from family cruisers to performance yachts. The programme in Las Palmas starts well before the gun: the rally office opens on 10 November, boats must arrive by 15 November, and the days before departure fill with safety inspections, weather seminars and social events. The skippers' briefing is on 21 November, and the whole fleet leaves together the next day. A typical crossing takes 18 to 21 days downwind in the trades. Prizegiving is in Saint Lucia on 19 December, timed so crews can celebrate arrival and still be settled in for Christmas in the Caribbean.
