Westernport Yacht Club

Westernport Yacht Club sails from Balnarring Beach on the northern shore of the western entrance to Western Port, roughly an hour's drive from Melbourne. The club caters for sailors of all ages and skill levels and states its ambition to be the first choice for sailing on Western Port. Sailing courses run from the clubhouse at 1 Foreshore Road, and boats of up to 7.5 metres can be launched from the club's facilities. The venue has hosted the ILCA Australian Championships, which brought national-class dinghy racing to the bay. Fishing sits alongside the racing and training calendar as part of club life.
