Princess Royal Sailing Club

Location: Emu Point, Little Grove, WA, Australia

Princess Royal Sailing Club was formed in 1909 by Frank Dymes, with early races run from the Albany Town Jetty. Since the 1950s the club has occupied Pagoda Point at Little Grove, on the shore of Princess Royal Harbour across the water from central Albany. Members sail regular race programmes for varying abilities, and coaching is offered for all ages. The club also runs Sailability, an inclusive programme that puts people of all abilities on the water with specialised equipment. Shore facilities include a full marina and hardstand, and the harbour-view clubhouse is hired out for functions and events.
