Port Adelaide Sailing Club
Location: Lady Gowrie Drive, Largs North, SA, Australia
Port Adelaide Sailing Club was founded in 1897 and is one of South Australia's older sailing institutions. The club is based at 43 George Robertson Drive on Snowdens Beach at Largs North, within the marine precinct at Marina Adelaide on the Port River, about 20 minutes from Adelaide city. It supports both racing and cruising sailors and runs a Sailability programme that opens the water to people with disabilities. Social activities complement the sailing calendar, and the clubhouse serves as the hub for members. Despite the name, the club no longer sits in Port Adelaide itself.
