Hawkes Boatyard and Chandlery
Location: Airlie Beach, QLD, Australia
Hawkes Boatyard and Chandlery operates from Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach, gateway to the Whitsunday Islands. Family owned and run for more than two decades, the yard offers travelift haul-outs at all states of the tide, with cradles supplied with power, water and compressed air. The fully stocked chandlery carries antifouling, paint, anodes and fastenings down to split pins, which saves a trip into town mid-refit. Marine Electrics Whitsunday works onsite, covering anchor winches, bilge pumps, switchboards and rewiring, and other marine trades are close at hand. The facility holds EPA and Worksafe Australia approval, a point the yard makes much of.
