Sound Sailing Center

Sound Sailing Center is a sailing school and membership club based in Cove Marina at 54 Calf Pasture Beach Road in Norwalk, Connecticut, with the Norwalk Islands as its home sailing grounds. Martin van Breems founded the operation in 1995 to get more people on the water. Instruction follows US Sailing standards and covers all levels for adults and juniors. The club model gives members access to a range of keelboats without the cost of ownership, and the center also runs daysailer rentals plus skippered, corporate and team building charters. Additional club boats are kept in Branford and Mystic, so members can sail much of Long Island Sound.
