The Cleveland Boat Show reaches its 70th edition in December 2026, and it arrives with a change of address. After decades at the I-X Center near the airport, the show moves downtown to the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland; the final I-X Center edition ran in January 2026. The December show opens in the week before Christmas, an unusual slot for a US boat show but a deliberate one, putting boats in front of buyers during the holiday season rather than in the depths of January. Expect the usual Great Lakes mix: powerboats, pontoons, fishing boats and personal watercraft from regional dealers, plus marine electronics, accessories and technology exhibits. The show is aimed squarely at Lake Erie boaters, who make Ohio a bigger boating market than outsiders tend to assume. The downtown venue should make it an easier walk-in visit than the old airport site ever was.
