St Kilda Marina
Location: Pier Road, St Kilda, Victoria, Australia
St Kilda Marina sits on the Port Phillip foreshore six kilometres from Melbourne's CBD, behind a breakwater at the southern end of St Kilda beach. The emphasis is on boat storage as much as wet berthing: a covered dry stack racks up to 123 trailerable boats, launched by forklift at short notice, alongside 165 wet berths for vessels from 6.7 to 22.8 metres. There is also an open hardstand for boats to 8.2 metres and a 175-space trailer park. Diesel and unleaded flow around the clock from a hi-flow fuel dock, and a public ramp handles launch and retrieval. Cafés in the marina precinct draw shore-bound visitors year round.
