Mackay Marina Village

Mackay Marina Village lies behind the breakwaters of Mackay Harbour, north of the city centre, and serves as the natural jumping-off point for the South Cumberland Islands and the Whitsundays beyond. The marina holds 328 berths for vessels from 10 to 55 metres, among them six 60-metre mega berths with vehicle access alongside and 18 big-boat berths for craft up to 38 metres, plus dedicated fishing and multihull berths. The basin carries about 4.5 metres at lowest tide. Ashore there is a full-service shipyard, fuel and pump-out, showers and laundry, a hotel, restaurants and boutique shops within the residential village precinct.
