d'Albora Tin Can Bay Marina
Location: 1 Norman Point Road, Tin Can Bay, Queensland, Australia
Tin Can Bay Marina lies on Snapper Creek at the southern end of the Great Sandy Strait, the sheltered waterway that runs inside K'gari, formerly Fraser Island. Part of the d'Albora group, it has 172 wet berths for vessels up to 20 metres, a fuel dock and holding tank pump-out. The yard offers a 40 tonne travelift and a 200 tonne slipway, with shipwrights and engineers based on site. Waterfront villas and a restaurant adjoin the pontoons, and the relaxed township of Tin Can Bay is a short walk away. For crews waiting on conditions at the Wide Bay Bar or bound north for the strait, it is a natural staging point.
