d'Albora Nelson Bay Marina
Location: 6 Teramby Road, Nelson Bay, New South Wales, Australia
Nelson Bay Marina fronts the town centre of Nelson Bay on the southern shore of Port Stephens, a broad natural harbour with resident dolphins and easy offshore access past the heads. The d'Albora-run facility offers 196 wet berths for vessels up to 35 metres, with dockmasters on duty and the usual network benefits of reciprocal berthing and fuel discounts. The surrounding promenade is the departure point for the bay's dive boats, whale-watching and cruise operators, and cafes and restaurants line the boardwalk a few steps from the pontoons. A major redevelopment of the marina precinct, including a proposed hotel, has been lodged with NSW planning authorities.
