d'Albora Akuna Bay Marina
Location: Akuna Bay, Akuna Bay, New South Wales, Australia
Akuna Bay Marina sits on Coal and Candle Creek, a drowned valley arm of Cowan Water deep inside Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, about an hour's drive from central Sydney. The setting is bushland to the waterline, with protected water and direct access to the cruising grounds of Broken Bay, Pittwater and the Hawkesbury River. Part of the d'Albora network, the full-service marina combines wet berths and dry stack storage with a boatyard worked by a 30-tonne travel lift, a fuel dock and waterfront dining. Dockmasters are on duty daily, and the Akuna Bay Cruising Club is based here. It is a rare thing: a full-facility marina inside a national park.
