Syttende Mai (Norwegian Constitution Day) maritime celebrations in Bergen 2026 fall on Sunday May 17. Bergen's celebrations centre on the Bryggen waterfront with two parades (Main Procession from Koengen 10:30, Flag Parade from Festplassen 10:40), traditional Buekorps marching drummer groups, a Viking-ship-shaped stage at Festplassen with speeches and live music, rowing competitions, an air show, and evening tapto dance and fireworks.
