Skotterupsejladsen is the season-opening regatta of the Foreningen til Sprydstagens Forevigelse, sailed by traditional smakkejolle (sprit-rigged) dinghies from Espergærde Harbour in northern Øresund. The race ends with a traditional skipper's feast and is held on a Sunday in late May or early June.
