The Swedish National Maritime Museum (Sjöhistoriska museet) on Djurgården in Stockholm runs an extensive 2026 public programme: free entry every day, the Seglarskolan summer sailing school for children (8–14), the "Vin och vrak" wine-and-wrecks lecture series, "Kulturell kaffe" coffee+lecture series, short "Hamnprat" curator-led tours of the Fartygspiren ship pier, and a National Day event on 6 June 2026 with opera, choir, flag-hoisting at 08:00 and open ships.
