ORC Double-Handed European Championship 2027

Two handed offshore crews contest the ORC Double-Handed European Championship from 28 June to 7 July 2027 at Sandhamn, the storied sailing harbour in the outer Stockholm archipelago. Sandhamn has been the spiritual home of Swedish offshore racing since the nineteenth century and serves as the traditional start and finish for the Gotland Runt offshore classic. The championship is sailed under ORC Double-Handed certificates, the rating format that has grown rapidly across Europe as short handed racing booms, and typically combines inshore courses with a long offshore leg through the archipelago and open Baltic. The Offshore Racing Congress sanctions the title, with the local organising authority and notice of race to follow on orc.org.
