Nowka Bais 2026 is an annual British Bangladeshi traditional boat race festival held in Birmingham (since 2015), originally founded in Oxford in 2007. Features 40-ft canoes built in Sylhet, Bangladesh competing in dragon-boat-style races, alongside performances, stalls and funfair rides. The largest boat race of its kind in the UK and a leading cultural event in the West Midlands. Country field should be "United Kingdom" with city "Birmingham" not London.
