IBEX - International BoatBuilders' Exhibition

IBEX, the International BoatBuilders' Exhibition and Conference, is the technical trade event for the North American recreational marine industry. It runs each fall at the Tampa Convention Center in Florida, organized by the National Marine Manufacturers Association. The 2026 edition takes place October 6 to 8, with pre-conference sessions on Monday, October 5. More than 700 exhibitors cover propulsion, composites, electrical systems, hardware and the rest of what goes into building and refitting boats. The education program is a real draw, with over 70 technical seminars led by industry experts, plus tech talks and workshops running throughout the show. This is not a consumer boat show. Entry is trade only, and no one under 18 is admitted. For designers, builders, repairers and suppliers, IBEX is the week the industry compares notes on new products and methods before the next model year takes shape.
