Garmin ORC World Championship 2027

Organizer: Royal Danish Yacht Club (KDY) and Offshore Racing Congress

The Royal Danish Yacht Club stages the Garmin ORC World Championship from 6 to 14 August 2027 at Skovshoved Harbour on the Øresund, a short run north of Copenhagen. The world's leading offshore crews contest four classes divided by CDL rating, from Class 0 grand prix racers down to Class C, all sailing under valid ORC International certificates. The Øresund offers a demanding racecourse with shifting winds, current and constant tactical decisions, and the format mixes windward leeward racing with longer offshore courses. Garmin continues as title sponsor, and entries run through the Manage2Sail platform. Skovshoved sits roughly forty minutes from Copenhagen Airport, which eases logistics for visiting international teams.
