China (Shanghai) International Boat Show

The China (Shanghai) International Boat Show, better known as CIBS, is Asia's longest-running boat show, and the 2027 edition marks its 30th anniversary. It takes place in late March 2027 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center on Guozhan Road, with around 600 exhibitors expected. CIBS is primarily a trade fair, the main annual meeting point between international marine brands and the Chinese market, covering yachts and boats alongside engines, equipment, marina development and watersports gear. Its thirty-year run has tracked the growth of Chinese boating from almost nothing to a substantial industry, and the exhibitor list mixes established European and American names with a growing field of domestic builders. For overseas companies looking at Asia, this is usually the first stop. The show shares its dates with a cluster of related marine and lifestyle exhibitions at the same venue.
