African Boating Conference

The African Boating Conference is a business conference, not a boat show, and it is the only annual event dedicated specifically to the boating, marina and blue economy industries across Africa. The second edition takes place on 20 and 21 October 2026 at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, after a sold-out first edition in 2025 that drew more than 200 delegates from 17 countries, including all of South Africa's leading boatbuilders. The 2026 theme is boating as a catalyst for economic growth, with sessions on marina and waterfront development, marine tourism, superyacht destination growth, infrastructure investment and regional cooperation. Confirmed speakers include Gulf Craft CEO Erwin Bamps and Oceanco's Paris Baloumis, and sponsors range from Ullman Sails to Dan-Bunkering. For anyone working in or selling into the African marine market, this is the room to be in.
