Whitsunday Escape
Location: Shingley Drive, Airlie Beach, Queensland, Australia
Whitsunday Escape runs self-skippered bareboat charters from Coral Sea Marina at Airlie Beach and describes its fleet as Australia's largest of luxury charter vessels. Power catamarans from 33 to 47 feet and sailing catamarans from 38 to 48 feet carry between two and twelve people. No licence is required, only sound boating knowledge, and the company briefs every crew before departure under its Escape with Confidence approach. The cruising ground covers the Whitsunday Islands within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, with Whitehaven Beach, fringing reef snorkelling spots and island resorts all within easy reach. The award-winning firm answers its phones seven days a week.
