Red Cap Sailing School

Red Cap Sailing School is an RYA recognised sail training centre based at the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club in Kuah, Malaysia. Principal Keith Miller, formerly of Langkawi Sailing School, is an RYA Yachtmaster Instructor who has sailed Malaysian and Thai waters for more than 15 years and has trained over 3,000 students to RYA standard. The school runs a 27-week season from October to May and teaches the RYA cruising scheme from Competent Crew and Day Skipper up to Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster. Training takes place among Langkawi's 99 islands, with four passages each season to Phuket via Ko Lipe, Phang Nga Bay and Ko Phi Phi. The main training yacht is SADE 2, with which Miller won the Evelyn Cup.
