Ostend Sailing Academy

Ostend Sailing Academy is the sailing school of Ostend Sailing, a watersports club founded in 1987 and based on the Halvemaandijk in Oostende. The school specialises in catamaran sailing on the sea and holds the WWSV quality label as a recognised youth sailing school and training club. Youth courses for ages 10 to 16 use 14-foot New Cat F1 catamarans, and an advanced course on Topaz 16 boats adds trapeze and spinnaker work. Adults can book an intensive three-day course with two instructors for a maximum of eight participants, plus return days between May and October. The club also offers family camps, surf and beach camps, adapted sport sessions and formulas for companies and groups.
